About Chattanooga Crawl Space Co.
A local guide to the space under Chattanooga houses.
What this site does
Chattanooga Crawl Space Co. is an independent local resource. Its pages cover how sealing, drying, lining and draining a crawl actually work, what national cost guides say each part costs, and how Chattanooga's housing, rain and code affect the job. It does not do the work. Requests for an inspection go to one independent local specialist who serves Chattanooga and calls you directly.
Where the figures come from
Housing figures come from the U.S. Census American Community Survey (2020–2024). Climate figures come from NOAA's 1991–2020 normals and daily records for Chattanooga's Lovell Field, and flood history from the National Weather Service office in Morristown. Radon zones are from the EPA, the residential code from the City of Chattanooga, and licensing thresholds from the state's Board for Licensing Contractors. Every price is a national range from This Old House, Fixr or HomeAdvisor, credited row by row in the price guide.
